So for a small treadmill this gives me a fairly decent walk while I watch Netflix or something. It has some annoyances though.
1. Trying to align the belt so it's not rubbing on the side by tightening/loosening the end bolts, once you get the hang of it not a big deal.
2. The oil that comes with the treadmill is VERY annoying to use as it doesn't have a long thin tube to make it easier to apply. I had to buy that separately.
The thing that troubles me the most is the smell after using it for 30-40 minutes. It's a sort of burnt rubbery smell. This is after I applied another full bottle of oil liberally and made sure the tread is not rubbing up against the sides.
I probably wouldn't have bought it if I knew about these things beforehand, but I'm not completely unhappy with it. I do get in a lot more walking in now and if that's what you're looking for it's alright.
For running, the running bed is a little short (which it should be for a walking machine) but it allows a very comfortable light running. It is sturdy, and not shaking while running. Do NOT lose the remote, otherwise the machine will not work.
By the way, the machine look great. Order it in red, as I did, which is a very happy and motivating color. The price point is just perfect: for a couple of hundred dollars, you are in business for walking and running all year round. And if you do not use it, no worries, this machine is super easy to put away: just tuck it under the bed or in a closet. I highly recommend it.

Welp yesterday I got the E05 error and the motor locked up.
BUT I feel like this was mostly my fault.
I wasn't paying attention to the strong burning smell (When I work I am very focused on work)
I felt the belt catch a few times and stopped but by then it was too late.
The motor is fully seized up and when I took it off the bolts a bunch of hard plastic shards came out.
I'm assuming that's not a good thing.
-
I know I don't have a warranty on this thing, and I appreciate how long it lasted with all the abuse I threw at it.
The pulley would squeak and I'd degrease it, I probably could've kept it cleaner and it may have lasted longer had I not disassembled it. Or maybe it would've failed sooner.
-
All these treadmills are quite cheap chinese parts. Even the ones in the $500 range.
Unless you are going to go BIG and spend $1500-$2500... I would suggest going for the cheapest one and replacing it every few years.
Think about it, it'll be about the same cost if an expensive one lasts 10 years (and there's no guarantee that one of those would)
**5-14-2021 UPDATE**
I've had this treadmill for 5 months! (purchased Dec 11, 2020)
I've put roughly 1 MILLION steps in on it!
A few things to note:
1.) If the remote is not working well, pop that sucker open and wiggle the battery around. It's not super high end quality so it can get loose and slip off the contacts. Once I re-positioned it, the remote was much better at waking up the treadmill... And it's the ONLY way to get the treadmill working.
Added a photo of the current state of the treadmill.... It developed a squeak so I took the housing off. I like it because now I have direct access to the belt. Not recommended for people with children or pets that may get caught in it and severely hurt. My dog stays clear of the treadmill so I am not concerned. I also removed the speaker since I don't use the bluetooth on this at all. It worked when I tried it though.
Removing the housing also helps with keeping the motor cooler (it warms up quite a bit) and makes it easier to dust the components. Dust kills electronics. A little swiffer and some compressed air and it's working perfectly.
About the squeaking NEVER put lube on the belt. The belt needs to catch the pulley afterall.
You actually want to use the OPPOSITE of lube. I spritz it with a little degreaser probably once a week and the squeak disappears.
I walk about 3 hours a day at 3.5 speed. which equates to (for me) about 15-20k steps.
So I go and eat pizza and drink beer and don't feel bad about it since I'm crushing my steps every week! lol
------------------
Like most people stuck in the rat race, I work a desk job. That's 8-9 hours five days a week sitting.
Even the most ergonomic chairs still just offer the same thing. Sedentary inactivity.
I've got an EvoDesk that can be sitting or standing, but standing stationary is still not movement (though it's nice to stretch and correct posture)
.
The secret to Rebel Wilson's dramatic weightloss? WALKING (along with a more mindful diet of course)
.
I've only had my TreadMill a few days.... But I've used it 6 hours a day the last 3 days.
.
My thoughts:
--- Build Quality - It's well built but not super solid. It's plastic. If you have kids or teens that are rough on stuff or are going to be banging their bikes or toys or whatever into it, it's not going to stand up well. Mine did stand up to a trip in a Shipping truck so that says a lot lol. It has a few little scuffs but nothing serious.
--- Weight & unpacking - The unpacking was a bit messy with all the styrafoam and straps etc. The unit isn't super large as we all know. It's not a full size commercial treadmill. It weighs around 85lbs and was easy for me to handle. For context though, I'm a 6' male at 195lbs. I can lift heavier things and have long arms lol. If you're 5'0 and 120lbs you may have more difficulty moving it around.
I do carry it in and out of my office upright when I'm not using it. It does have nice rollers at the front, I just have doorway lips to move it over.
--- Speakers - The bluetooth speakers are not great, but if you don't have your headphones because the dog ate them, they'll do the trick. I didn't realize "MEdia" or whatever, was the speakers so I accidentally hooked my MacBook bluetooth to it instead of my google nest lmao. It was surprising I thought, "Where the hell is the music coming from?? OH it's the treadmill!". for what the speakers are, I'd give them an 8/10. But they are NOT bose or Sonos so don't get your hopes up. In the context of what they are, they're like laptop speakers.
--- Initial use - I have never used it with the handles up, I probably never will. I got it specifically for walking while I work. I'm walking right now actually at "3" which I think is kmg (1.8mph).
LUBE THE TRACK - it doesn't say to, but I would suggest getting a good amount of silicone lube under the track to keep from catching or damaging the tread belt. Sure they can lube these at the factory, but how long have they been sitting in a warehouse??? It's likely the lube is either not effective or isn't enough. You can't really over lube them. I mean if you dump a gallon yes, but if any drips off onto your floor it's a simple cleanup. I didn't have any drippage.
IT COMES WITH LUBE - but I did get an additional bottle that was a suggestion by amazon. I plan on lubing it weekly as I will be using it so much.
.
I got the Error message everyone talks about, it's for not having the emergency clip magnet in its spot. Since I'm not using it with the handle, I unknotted the string and put the red plastic clip directly in its spot. You can see it in the photo, it rests on the inside of the folded handle.
.
Plugged it in, flipped the big orange switch and it came to life. Mine wasn't catching or fraying, but I did slick it up before first use.
.
First day I realized my phone (on my desk) and watch (on my wrist) weren't counting steps. lol of course, because I'm not moving my arms while I walk. They are gyroscopic so google fit, or whatever app you use won't pick up on it. I've since put my SmartWatch face in my sock lmao.
- You can do that with your fitbit too! It's way more accurate tracking leg movement than arm.
.
Anyway Second day (yesterday 12/29/2020) was much better. I walked from 10am to 1pm at "3" a normal walk I would say. I had 6400 steps!!! I didn't break a sweat, I didn't have any pain. I did have that wobbly leg feeling when I got off though lolol. Had lunch and sat for about an hour and then walked another 6k steps from 2pm to 5pm. I did notice my non-dominant foot (left) was a little sore; I was waking in socks. Walking in shoes the rest of the day helped that. The top of my left Hamstring was also a little sore, nothing crazy... lower back and butt were a little sore too. Again, nothing crazy. Just felt like they were actually used!
.
12k in change for steps and I felt pretty good about that.
.
The belt does catch a little as you step on it, again, I'm not running on this thing. I doubt it would be a good running treadmill. It's too skinny and, just, if you want a strong running marathon treadmill, save up your money and splurge on that $1200 one you're looking at.
.
All bodies are different, I'm not trying to lose weight or get stronger, or even get better conditioning; I just wanted to move my body instead of sitting all day. There's no "goal" here other than moving and I'm doing that.
.
For those who are curious there's plenty of data out there. Walking is good for your body.
People who are overweight or obese will find that walking is easier than cardio (obvi) so it's a good start AND they specifically will see massive changes.
Walking 10k a day at around 200lbs you'd be expecting around losing 1lbs a week.
Couple that with better eating habits and proper portions, you can significantly change your life.
.
It's a good investment, You can find other walking treadmills for around $300; I didn't mind the extra $100 for this one. You can get an EvoDesk for $700. $1,000 may seem like a lot, but realize that this is an investment in yourself. Your health will thank you.
.
I'll update my review if anything changes but right now there are no qualms with it as a great walking treadmill.

I'll update my review if anything changes but right now there are no qualms with it as a great walking treadmill.
For me, I would not use this for running. I have a long stride and I just don’t see it being functional for that purpoase.
I also wish they would have made it easy to take the main bar off. The one that holds the small arms and folds down. It isn’t too difficult to take off completely if you’re comfortable with taking things apart and putting them back together.
This is what I did to take make it work as I desire. This is not advice, it is only detail of what worked for me.
-Release the clamp handle and put the main bar in it’s down position.
-Remove the bolt that is opposite the clamp handle (the one you must release in order to fold down the handle).
-Slide the crossbar out and the two springs on either side.
-Flip the unit upside down and remove the four screws in positions shown in image A.
-Flip the unit over, lift up on the front edge as shown in image B.
-Pull slightly toward you on the right side to clear the lip on the right side. The left side houses the speaker and you’ll need to gently move it and lift it out.
-Gently flip the plastic housing over as shown in image C.
-Locate the cable shown in image D. Gently remove the hot glue holding it in, release the clip and remove the cable.
-Insert a jumper as shown in image E. If you don’t have a jumper, they’re super cheap, or you can also snip the cable and jump the leads that go to the emergency stop switch.
-Reinstall the top, flip the unit back over and reinstall the four screws, being careful not to strip out the plastic. The best way to do this is to put the screws in their holes, turn the screwdriver counter-clockwise until you hear/feel the screw drop a little. This aligns the screw with the threads. Then start turnign clockwise until snug.
The emergency stop switch is designed to attach to your body so that, if you fall off, the treadmill turns off. If the main handle is folded down, this feature isn’t usable...so far as I can tell. Mine didn’t even have the magnet in it, so it didn’t work anyway.
Again, this is not advice. This is simply what I did to make the unit function as I want it to.
And don’t forget to lube the belt. It is almost non-functional as delivered. Mine was, anyway.

First and foremost, the compact and foldable design of this treadmill is nothing short of remarkable. It easily fits in my small apartment, and when not in use, it neatly folds away, taking up minimal space. This feature is a blessing for anyone living in tight quarters or looking for a treadmill that won't dominate their living area.
Despite its space-saving design, the Goplus 2 in 1 Folding Treadmill boasts a powerful 2.25HP motor that provides a smooth and consistent workout experience. The range of speeds and adjustable incline options allow me to customize my workouts to meet my fitness goals, whether it's a brisk walk, a challenging jog, or an intense run.
One of the standout features is the 'Under Desk' functionality, which I absolutely love. When not in the mood for a traditional workout, I simply slide the treadmill under my desk and walk while working. It's fantastic for staying active during long hours of work, providing a subtle but effective way to burn calories and stay energized throughout the day.
The treadmill's user-friendly LCD display is clear and easy to read, offering essential metrics such as time, distance, speed, and calories burned. Plus, the integrated safety key ensures I can exercise with peace of mind, knowing I can quickly stop the machine if needed.
Another highlight is how quiet the Goplus 2 in 1 Folding Treadmill operates. It's whisper-quiet, which is perfect for apartment living or when I want to exercise without disturbing others. The low noise level also makes it easier to watch TV or listen to music while working out.
Finally, I must commend Goplus for their exceptional customer service. The delivery was prompt, and the treadmill arrived in perfect condition. Any queries I had were promptly answered, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, the Goplus 2 in 1 Folding Treadmill is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to stay fit, regardless of their busy lifestyle or limited space. With its space-saving design, powerful motor, 'Under Desk' feature, and quiet operation, this treadmill is a reliable companion on my fitness journey. I highly recommend the Goplus 2 in 1 Folding Treadmill to anyone seeking a convenient and effective way to incorporate exercise into their daily routine. Say goodbye to excuses and hello to a healthier you!
