I got this mat to go over carpet and it works really well for that (no sliding around). The material is nice and comfortable but the mat itself does crack pretty easily, mine came with near cracks at one end that I thought would eventually reform to normal it did not. Then a few days later the mat had cracked from the bottom after rolling it up (big loose roll) to put away. It's a good comfortable anti slip mat unfortunately for the price I was expecting a sturdier build to wouldn't crack so easily.
